Two George's Waterfront Restaurant on the Intracoastal Waterway (Boynton Beach, FL)

No surprise to the locals, Two George's Waterfront Restaurant on the Intracoastal waterway is a fantastic restaurant to visit while in town or frequent as a resident. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. You will have a great time at this beautiful waterfront location with great food and atmosphere. They serve delicious dishes from cheese steak subs to the catch of the day. They also have live music on Saturdays and Sundays along with docking for your boats should you choose to arrive Floridian style! You can also enjoy the table swing seating near the water as you watch the boats passing by. As you sit you can also view the bridge as it opens every half hour for large boats to pass. Happy hour as always and a great place to meet with friends and family. ($$)

This is a must visit! I have had a great experience every time!

Cornell Museum of Art & American Culture

This museum is truly wonderful. During the day, you can tour their facility and view beautiful artwork for free. They have several different exhibits every couple of months and it is a joy to view. The artwork displayed here has been very interesting and inspiring. You can make a donation to the museum at the entrance.


They also hold art classes you may want to attend if you have a pure interest in art and are a professional or a hobby artist like myself.

Delray Beach at the Brule Bistro

Delray Beach, Florida, another city I picked up work in. Getting here everyday was quite the haul from Miami but I love where I work. There was a bonus to working in this city that I wasn't expecting. The bonus is the delicious food in the local restaurants. Of course being within walking distance to the beach is a plus but I rarely walk that way. Instead, I head west toward Atlantic Ave. I eat lunch in the heart of Delray's downtown area on and off Atlantic Avenue. Today, I ate lunch at Brule Bistro at 200 NE 2nd Avenue, suite 109 to be exact. I was looking for something different. I approached the front door and saw the hanging menu. A friendly employee came to greet me, explained a few things and I was sold. As I walked in, I couldn't help but notice the effort put in to make this restaurant different. I find it adorable and inspiring. So much so that I decided to begin blogging again.


The menu is considered to be a “Classic French Influenced Modern American Cuisine." They'll put a $$ for the pricing, however, the food is so delicious, it's worth every penny. I chose the swordfish wrap with coleslaw. Much fancier name on their “specials" menu but hard to express the exquisite taste of this dish. After eating this, I noticed the dessert menu on the wall. I love coconut and key lime is always great so I had their Coconut Key Lime Tart and requested an espresso along side it. To my delight, they serve “Nespresso," quite frankly it's the best espresso that I have ever had.

I will definitely indulge myself there again. I highly recommend, no matter where you are in South Florida, that you stop into Brule Bistro!

Tijuana Flats

Do you wanna, Tijuana? The 1st Tijuana Flats was opened in Winter Park, Florida, a nice upper class area near Orlando, Florida. The pictures below are of the location in Boynton Beach, Florida. I have been to many Tijuana Flats around the state including Brandon, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Tampa, Westchase, Lake Mary, Winter Park, Pembroke Pines and Hollywood. I know there are more I can't recall the cities. The chicken / steak taco salad is amazing! Everyone knows me and they get it right every time. They have Taco Tuesday and Throwback Thursday specials. So many sauces to choose from. "Smack my Ass and call me Sally"  Thanks to Brian Wheeler, I have been able to have my favorite food no matter where I have lived. They also offer beer and wine. Barefoot wine is my favorite selection. It has a nice inviting atmosphere and ceiling tiles that are designed by the locals. Every location has a similar set up with amazing art to view as you dine inside. They also offer patio dining for those nice "cool" Florida days.

East Ocean Cafe in Boynton Beach

The East Ocean Cafe in Boynton Beach, Florida is a quaint little restaurant. They offer breakfast, brunch or lunch everyday from 7:00am-2:00pm. If you choose to stop by on the weekend, it can be quite busy because this restaurant offers the best food on East Ocean Avenue. This adorable cafe offers French press coffee made fresh and tastier than regular brew. The food is as tasty as a home cooked meal made with love by grandma. The perfect daytime gathering place for friends and family to sit and chat and take in the view around them. Although it sits near the railroad, watching the train pass by can be exhilarating when patio dining. This is the place to stop for morning coffee or an afternoon of enjoyment while passing through or visiting Boynton Beach located at: 412 E Ocean Ave, Boynton Beach, FL 33435.
